AD60 Watch: Larry Dick Fundraiser On March 20
Posted by: Jubal | 02/27/2008 9:06 PM
"In the last few hours, our campaign sent out a special message from our good friend Linda Ackerman, which invited fellow conservatives to an event that supporters are holding in the near future.
Our campaign listed Linda's title as California Republican National Committeewoman on the invitation, and although we are terribly proud of Linda's successful election at the last weekend's CRP convention, we made a mistake by listing her title and by jumping the gun a bit as Linda does not assume that office until September.
Moreover, once she assumes her National Committeewoman office, she may not endorse in contested Republican primaries. Some very good friends pointed out our mistake and we wanted to share it with you right away because integrity is important to us.
That said, I am proud to have Linda Ackerman as a part of my team, and hope that you will be able to join us. The event information is below.

Eeeek, that's kind of an embarrassing rookie mistake isn't it?
LOL - I would not say it was a rookie mistake....it was just a mistake. No biggie.
Very embarassing rookie mistake indeed.
