Well, I've finally have video from Monday night's OC GOP Central Committee meeting edited, processed, uploaded, blah, blah, so readers can see for themselves what happened.
Here are the speakers for and against the motion to give Sup. Janet Nguyen an early endorsement. In the first clip, the venerable Marcia Gilchrist speaks in favor of endorsing Janet, followed by Tim Whitacre speaking in opposition to the motion. Bear in mind I'm at the back of the room, so the picture isn't the sharpest:
The next clip is of Sen. Dick Ackerman speaking in favor of the motion, Chad Morgan speaking against, Valerie Dickerson in favor, and Brett Franklin in opposition:
In the next clip, Endorsements Committee Chairman Kermit Marsh presides over the early endorsement vote -- first by a voice vote, followed by a roll-call vote:
The next clip is of Marsh giving his parliamentarian's report -- as part of which he made the now infamous ruling about abstentions:
Finally, here is OC GOP Chairman Scott Baugh speaking on the controversy:

Where's the video of when Dina Nguyen announces her candidacy for Supervisor against the more senior and distinguished Trung Nguyen?
Et Tu, Brute?
Jubal, can you post the part where Kermit Marsh and Chuck DeVore argues back and fourth? DeVore made a good point and I think readers will come to a better conclusion of what happened if they get to see that as well.
Devore's point was that the committee needs to operate more like the state legislature in Sacramento - yikes!
Assemblymen get a hefty salary, a per diem, a state car, and a staff to make sure they get to their votes.
No such luck for committee members...apples and oranges.
Supervisor get heftier salary and $1 mil. pork money, paid blogger to defend her almost every day.
Where is the video of Tran's district director objecting to the ruling and ordering Troung Diep (also Tran staff)to back him up?
The effort to overturn the endorsement was bought an paid for by Van Tran and there is not denying it!
Oh please, no video of "TRANNIES GONE WILD!!!"

I don't have video of that. I was blogging when that was going on.
Anon,
Quite bitter, huh? You lost despite all your effort to pull this off but you can't do it. The whole process was a sham (miscount, recount, changing the rules at the end, etc.)and you still lost. There is a God after all! Ouch, ouch, ouch!
Janet is GOOD in attracting BAD FORTUNE and she will drag everyone around her into deep pool of mud. Look at her past political supporters...... they have followed the wrong map because Janet is completely lacking the knowledge of being a leader. You are better of listening to your own children's opinion.
Listening to your own children's opinion? I guess Dina would be good at that- she has three of them. Clearly this is all that is required to be a Supervisor. Family values? Reading these posts, It doesn't seem like any of you go to Church to be able to know what family values are.
Tim Whitacre is not an evil man. He is a great man and one of the most upstanding individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. He should run for the Santa Ana City Council against Vince Sarmiento. No other republican is going to and I think Tim would make a fantastic council member! He can bring his military experience and background to the dias and help get things accomplished on there.
RUN TIM RUN!
Bad teacher, if none of us were saved, this is how you share the gospel?.Now, I do want to attend your church because I love smearing people for their perceived spiritual inferiority or sins from the past. Go ahead throw that rock at people and invite your bad friends to join you. Adios Bad Teacher.
