Grindle Unveils Plan To Regulate Free Political Speech

Or so it says on Total Buzz.
According to Martin Wisckol's post, Shirley Grindle has "this evening sent out copies of the campaign reform plan she has been working on with Supervisor John Moorlach's office."
I had posted drafts of the Grindle/Moorlach "TIN CUP 2" ordinance and the concomitant OC Fair Camaign Practices Commission a week ago, and elucidated some, but by no means all, of the various noxious elements of these proposals -- and was met with a collective yawn from the local media that read this blog.
But hey, at least it's getting attention now.
I'm shocked -- shocked! -- that Shirley Grindle didn't send me a copy of this "reform" plan. I'm sure it was an oversight.
I look forward to reviewing the final version.

Supervisor Shaver isn't looking so bad. Sure, he wouldn't vote right on the pension, but we have Bates, Norby, and Campbell to take care of that.
God help us for electing Supervisor Moorlach (I mean Grindle).
Thank you Shirley for pointing out the law that forced Sheriff Carona to resign!
