California Federation of Republican Women Endorses Steve Baric for CRP Secretary

This came over in the afternoon from Steve Baric:STEVE BARIC'S CAMPAIGN FOR CRP SECRETARY CONTINUES MOMENTUM HEADING TOWARD FEBRUARY GOP CONVENTION
Steve Baric's campaign for CRP Secretary added a significant endorsement this weekend in Stockton. The Board of Directors of the California Federation of Republican Women unanimously endorsed Steve Baric's campaign for CRP Secretary. Baric is also endorsed by former CFRW Presidents Lois Godfrey and Martha House.
"I am deeply honored to receive the support of such a well respected Republican volunteer organization as the CFRW." Said Baric. "The work they do to elect and support our candidates is so important, I am thrilled to receive their endorsement."
Baric's campaign already has the support of Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, Board of Equalization Members Michelle Steel and Bill Leonard, the Republican leadership in the State Senate and State Assembly, a majority of Republican Assemblymembers, Several leaders of the State Board of the CRP and over 20 County Party Chairs.
A former gang prosecutor in the Orange County District Attorney's office, Baric currently serves as President of the California Republican Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the California Republican Party and a Board Member of the California Republican Assembly.
The election for CRP Secretary will be held at the 2008 February CRP Convention in San Francisco.

Steve Baric loses in court to Supervisor Janet Nguyen, but wins the CFRW endorsement. Interesting.
Did he mention his lawsuit against an incumbent woman Republican when asking for the endorsement or was that swept under the rug?
