"Who Pushed The Feds To Prosecute Carona?"
Posted by: Jubal | 12/07/2007 2:51 PM
That's the topic of this video segment from Full Disclosure Network, released on Wednesday:
Why did the Orange County District Attorney and the California Attorney General decline to prosecute Sheriff Mike Carona? And, after declining to prosecute the Sheriff, who is a State Constitutional office holder, what prompted the Feds to pursue an indictment on alleged political corruption charges? The FULL DISCLOSURE NETWORK® presents an eight minute Video News Blog featuring clips from exclusive post arraignment interviews with the Sheriff, spokesman from the U. S. Attorney's office, Special Assistant District Attorney, and Chairman of the Orange County Republican Party.I'm watching/listening to it as I post, but it has a distinctly they're-out-to-get-Mike tone of conspiracy.

Resignation - NEVER!
Vindication - Pending.
The truth is slowly creeping out. When your focus and goal is destruction, then you will ultimately destroy only yourself. This Firestorm: Allegations Only, created by those bent on destroying Our Sheriff, Michael Carona.
Stay Strong.

Who pushed for prosecution? As in every prosecution it is the offender himself. Quit your sniveling sheriff and face the facts. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
Why didn’t locals prosecute? It is because they are in bed together. When locals refuse to perform their sworn duties the Feds are obliged to step in.
This whole “Full Disclosure” PR campaign is a farce. I want to know if Carona paid to have this so-called interview produced. I also see this whole thing may be purchased. Is the creep making money off of this? What’s the matter Carona, not enough dead deputies to cash in on lately?
Does it matter who pushed for it? What matters is Carona has been crooked for nine years now and he got caught, will be convicted and sent to prison...where he belongs.
I've lost my mind!

Full Disclosure (ironically named) is a production of the Citizens Protection Alliance. Executive Director of the C.P.A. is T.J. Johnson. A T.J. Johnson is identified by Sheriff Carona as an endorser. Is this really an objective media source? Before falling for this presentation, one must wonder how deeply they are connected with the indicted one. Are they campaign contributors? Are they on the Sheriff’s Advisory Council? Are they endowed with concealed weapons permits or special badges? This whole thing stinks.
Hey Headlights On Guy - Nothing is “slowly creeping out,” No one’s “goal is dstruction,” no one is “bent on destruction” and area 51 does not house alien corpses.
This indictment was not dreamed up by so called “enemies.” The few remaining fans who deny what is in front of us probably would have not admitted the Titantic was sinking either.
BTW, watched the video and was howling. So the President of the United States ordered this “Firestorm.” You couldn’t pay someone to write this stuff.
I really got a kick out of this, only in orange county! This is as big as the Kennedy assasination HAHA. This is nothing more than a few cops thinking they were more than just civil servants, nothing more nothing less.
No need to delve deep on this one.
Those of us who have worked closely with him have observed and discussed it. He was always about himself and hid it well early on. As his appetite for power grew his ego evolved with it. He played two roles with opposing groups whose values conflicted. Haidl and Jaramillo are two high profile examples of people who feel betrayed. Many others exist as they discover he was not loyal to them only as he portrayed.
The two groups occasionally overlapped but as he navigated his way through it seemed to make him feel untouchable and enjoy the risk taking.
How does the phrase go - You can't serve two masters. Carona learned the hard way.
A better question is:
Why didnt the local District Attorney Mr. REPUBLICAN IMMUNITY himself proscecute Mr. Mike Carona
Why Carona Risked it,
You claim to be close to Our Sheriff, Michael Carona, and you correctly identify those he placed in positions of trust as being the source of this Firestorm. But, you then incorrectly directed your focus back to Sheriff Carona.
If you truly KNOW, then you would identify how the events over the past nine years were put in place by those he trusted, and how Sheriff Carona unwittingly allowed himself to be surrounded by those who went to great lenghts to put the pieces in place to achieve their sinister goals. Now, Our Sheriff must suffer.
Headlights On!
Rich,
When the sheriff pleads guilty will you acknowledge his guilt or just give more excuses? If the former I could give you some credit for backing him when things are bad. If you are unwilling to ever admit the truth your simply a nut.
Annonymous,
It’ll be almost impossible to really know if he betrayed his oath of office and our trust unless he gets his right to justice that includes a presumption of innocence outside the courtroom and a fair impartial trial once inside. The truth MAY only be known at the end of it all.
We must know if Our Sheriff, Michael Carona, was “felony gullible” or “felony culpable.” IF Our Sheriff has a higher standard of conduct expected of him then only the highest standard of jurisprudence should be used to adjudicate him. It must be done right.
