Steve Sheldon Will Lead OC Water District In 2008

This is a few days late, but I thought it is still worth mentioning that Steve Sheldon, a Director of the Orange County Water District, will be serving as this agency's president for the 2008 term.

Many political insiders know Sheldon through his work with local governments via his public affairs firm - the Sheldon Group.

On May 18, 2005, Sheldon was appointed to the OCWD Board of Directors, representing Division 5, which cover the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach and Tustin.  Last year, he was re-elected with 70% of the votes.

My only humble advice to the new Board President, whatever you do, avoid a fee increase.  Congratulation on the new role and I wish you success!
