More On The Janet Staffer Thing

I've gathered some more information on the mini-controversy over Sup. Janet Nguyen tapping the Health Care Agency budget to pay for a executive assistant.
It seems when Janet first took office, she brought in a Health Care Agency staffer to deal with HCA-related constituent problems. When the staffer returned to HCA, however, it seems Supervisor Nguyen's office kept the money associate with that person and used it to hire another EA.
I put in a call to County CEO Tom Mauk to see how this all came about without the other Supes knowing about it. I was told he's at an off-site meeting. I'll post more when I hear back from him.

This could be interesting. If in fact, she is utilizing HCA funds for her staff, without an official board authorized budget adjustment, then that may fall under misapproriation of public funds, which is a felony.
A felony huh? That does deserve a second look...
What else is new about Janet Nguyen? All take but no give. There may be more skeletons in this closet.
