Calvert Focused on Fixing Traffic

Members of Congress tend to focus on the big picture, the national agenda, the war, Social Security, etc. This is especially true for those who have safe seats and don't have to worry about the politics of their district.
It takes a special kind of Congressman to care enough about his home base to fight for something as minor in the grand scheme as a fix for a traffic. But that is exactly what Congressman Ken Calvert has been doing. He is determined to see the 241 extention go through. And he is battleing the Democrats- specifically Rep. Loretta Sanchez who is opposing the roadway.
Calvert who lives in Corona and represents parts of South Orange County, earns re-election with relative ease every two years, but spents a lot of time in the district and never forgets his role in representing OC.
Calvert writes in this morning's Orange County Register how he is working to get the road built and how Rep. Sanchez is trying to thwart his efforts at every turn.

Is Probolsky a paid consultant for Calvert? Perhaps someone could put up a bounty to find out. LOL!
In fact I am a paid consultant to the Calvert for Congress campaign, I am his pollster.
I generally do not add my client relationships that are publicly available such as for government agencies and campaigns.
Do I get to collect the bounty on myself?
Do you mean to tell me one can live in Corona and represent South Orange County well? Say it isn't so Adam!
The only time that I see Probolsky on here is to pump up his clients. It is a shame that he is nothing more than a mercenary.
Pump? You used the wrong vowell!
So this was just billable time Adam? A positive post for a client who pays you. Nice. Maybe Santa will drop off some ethics this Xmas.
No. I am not paid to highlight the Congressman's accomplishments. I do however feel strongly that completing the 241 is important to keeping traffic moving in OC. Perhaps you could talk to Loretta about it-tell her that the Congressman from Corona is showing her up.
Maybe we should just pave over all of southern california so we can make sure the population keeps expanding to meet the road capacity and the developers, like Calvert's good friend gary miller in diamond bar can keep getting rich off of transportation earmarks.
We need to find some long-range solutions like a light rail system for Southern California--not ruin one of the only park/camping grounds left right next to a beach where I spent my high school years surfing and living the idyllic California lifestyle that attracts everyone here in the first place.
Calvert is a shameless profiteer who cares nothing for parks and recreation areas. He's currently trying to make a min-storage facility for his own profit out of land intended for a little league baseball park!
Probolsky can not see over his own fat belly to see that Calvert is far from showing up Sanchez. If Calvert was not paying Probolsky, he would be trashing Calvert too.
