Blais Raises over $75,000 at Costa Mesa Event
Assemblyman Todd Spitzer Headlines Event
(Rancho Santa Margarita) - 71st Assembly District front-runner Neil Blais raised over $75,000 on Tuesday night at his holiday fundraiser in Costa Mesa - an event headlined by Assembly incumbent Todd Spitzer, who has endorsed Neil Blais to replace him in the State Legislature.
The event, held at the Crevier Classic Car Company, is one of just a series of fundraising events being held by Blais as the year draws to a close.
In recent weeks, Neil Blais has announced an impressive series of endorsements, including William Lyon, Atlas PAC, Senator Dick Ackerman, Orange County Supervisors Pat Bates and Bill Campbell, and former Chairman Michael Schroeder, among many others.
Neil Blais is a respected member of the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council, where he's earned a reputation for being a tough fiscal watchdog and champion of conservative causes. Neil is also a fixture in the Orange County Republican Party, where he served for four years as the representative on the 71st District Central Committee and is currently a member of the Orange County Lincoln Club.
Neil was also a member on the Rancho Santa Margarita cityhood committee and played an integral role in RSM's incorporation.

Not a bad job for one night's event. I have also heard that some of Miller's early on monetary supporters are now having second thoughts. I wouldn't be surprised to see a number of them contributing to Blais as well.
