Introducing Red County Radio

We're launching a new feature today: Red County Radio.
When Red County Editor Scott Graves and I were at the Blogworld Expo almost two weeks ago, we met with the good people at BlogTalkRadio. Their technology immediately struck us as a terrific service to add to Red County's repertoire of tools for bringing you political news, insight and commentary.
BlogTalkRadio provides bloggers with everything they need to host an Internet talk radio program. Their outreach to political bloggers is being quarterbacked by Ed Morrissey, owner of the Captain's Quarters blog and one of the country's leading conservative bloggers.
I enticed my fellow Orange County blogger Allan Bartlett to be the guinea pig on Red County Radio's inaugural broadcast. Allan has morphed into the de facto head of the Ron Paul for President movement in Orange County, so I had him on to talk about how that phenomenon has been unfolding in Orange County, and what it bodes for the GOP.

And please be kind in your critiques: I'm a newbie at hosting a radio show -- Internet or otherwise -- but I promise to get better with practice.

Very solid and professional.
Great job Matt! Hugh Hewitt should be shaking in his boots :)
I'm glad that y'all will now be doing regular radio / podcast programs.
However, I should note that you seem to have failed to ask Allan Bartlett about some questions about some of the alleged backing Ron Paul is receiving from neo-Nazis as well as some questionable positions Ron Paul has taken in the past:
Article from American Thinker (hat tip: LGF)
Articles from Ron Paul's Newsletter as listed on LGF
Wow, this is so cool! Is the technology/equipment easy to set up? Can I try doing it in the future?
Thanks for the opportunity to spread the message of freedom and the constitution Matt. To the concerned UCI student, what should he have asked about it? If any money has been donated to him by neo nazis or similiar persons, they should return it.
Nicely done.
Matt,
How about using your "big boy" voice when you do your broadcasts??
Huh?
It just would have been interesting to hear your reaction, as you seemed to express Ron Paul's the best thing since sliced bread.
Need some lead-in music--otherwise, great!
