After one chaotic hour and nine motions later, the Orange County Young Republicans voted to endorse the following candidates for the upcoming June Primary election:
33 Senate District: Mimi Walters
35 Senate District: No Endorsement (at this time)
60 Assembly District: Larry Dick
71 Assembly District: No Endorsement (at this time)
73 Assembly District: Diane Harkey
I will have a full commentary later about OCYR's bizarre endorsement process in a different post. A congratulation is also in order for the candidates who received this group's support tonight.

It should be noted that the "No endorsement" means "No endorsement at this time." These are early endorsements.

It is fine to complain about the OCYR's endorsement of these candidates, but who would you suggest they endorse alternatively? Are these candidates not the best candidates for the OCYRs to endorse in these given races in Orange County? I think that someone is just attempting to stir up controversy where no controversy should exist.
Well are you aware that the OCYR took $2000 from Tom Harman and pretty much gave him the middle finger by "Not Endorsing at This Time"?
How can any Republican organization not early endorse a sitting incumbent who has no opposition, yet went ahead an endorsed non-incumbents like Diane Harkey and Larry Dick?
