REPUBLICAN LEADERS SPEAK OUT AT STATE CONVENTION IN SUPPORT OF STEVE BARIC FOR CRP SECRETARY
Steve Baric's campaign for CRP Secretary added several high-powered endorsements at the recent CRP Convention in Indian Wells. Among those who signed on to Baric's campaign include: Board of Equalization Member Bill Leonard, Assemblymember Joel Anderson, CRP Inland Vice-Chair Acquanetta Warren, Former CFRW President Lois Godfrey and radio talk show personality Inga Barks added their support to an already impressive list of endorsements.
"I am deeply honored by the endorsements from great Republican Leaders, organizations and activists from all parts of California," said Baric. "I share their commitment to creating a strong and robust California Republican Party and I look forward to working with them for victory in 2008."
Baric's campaign already has the support of Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, Board of Equalization Member Michelle Steel, a majority of Republican Assemblymembers and several leaders of the California Republican Party state board.
A former gang prosecutor in the Orange County District Attorney's office, Baric currently serves as President of the California Republican Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the California Republican Party and a Board Member of the California Republican Assembly.
The election for CRP Secretary will be held at the 2008 February CRP Convention in San Francisco.
