Congressman Ed Royce to be Special Guest Speaker
ORANGE COUNTY, CA - - Hadi Makarechian, one of Orange County’s leading businessmen and GOP donors, will host a fundraiser for 71st district Republican candidate Jeff Miller on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Monarch Bay Club in Dana Point. United States Congressman Ed Royce (R-Orange) will be the special guest speaker at the event.
Makarchian is the President and Chairman of the Board of Capital Pacific Holdings, among the nation’s most successful real estate development companies.
“I am deeply honored that Hadi Makarechian would offer to host this fundraiser to help my campaign,” said Jeff Miller. “The support I have received from Orange County Republicans since announcing my candidacy has exceeded all my expectations. Miller is the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Corona and the Chairman of the Republican Party of Riverside County. He has owned his own business for 22 years. Is everybody going to get all pissed off about this one, too? Seems like a lot of people really just genuinely believe Jeff Miller is the best candidate... whether they are from Orange County or not.
Miller is on a roll! This fundraiser is sure to be huge.

Just got a press release via email from the Blais Campaign. It appears that Todd Spitzer, Dick Ackerman and Michael Schroeder have endorsed Mr. Blais. I assume Jubal will post it later, but it appears that Mr. Miller has just been sent to the back of the bus.
