OCEA May Pursue Recall Of Chriss Street

I just got word there will be a press conference tomorrow at the Orange County Employees, where OCEA General Manager Nick Berardino and others will discuss "next steps" regarding OC Treasurer Chriss Street, including a possible recall campaign.
That's the second time the possibility of a Chriss Street recall has come up on political conversation today. I think it would take 157,000-and-change valid signatures to qualify a Street recall, so one would probably want to get 190,000 signatures to be on the safe side. One observer I know estimated the cost the qualify a recall at $250,000.

This has all the makings of another Rep/Dem recall lovefest like with Martin in Anaheim.
Its a waste of time. I say let street rot in his position with no real investment powers. He will be easy to pick off in the next general election. Thats of course if we cant get him fired.
