The World's Longest 72 Hours

Martin Wisckol has an interesting post over at Total Buzz in which he talks to Shirley Grindle about Janet Nguyen's illegal legal defense fund.
Grindle dismisses the Trung Nguyen/Mike Schroeder complaint filed against Janet Nguyen:
"It's a stupid complaint," she said. "It's nothing more than an effort to give a political opponent a bad name."
I'm wondering if Shirley's dislike for Mike Schroeder has trumped her dislike of campaign's evading her TIN CUP ordinance, because the above remark seems like a climbdown from Grindle's reaction when the story broke:
"If that isn't evasion, I don't know what is," she said. "They can't do this."
But they have, and continue to do so. As Martin points out, Janet still has not notified the Registrar of Voters with the identities of those three donors who gave in excess of the contribution limits -- something she was supposed to have done within 72 hours.
What gives? How hard can it possibly be to get the forms, sit down with a pen and fill it out for the three donors? And in the meantime, send out a press release listing the three donors for the sake of full disclosure.
Maybe Janet's campaign thinks they have 72 Venusian hours -- and if that were the case she'd still have plenty of time since a Venusian day equals 243 Earth days.
Although TIN CUP doesn't specify the notification must be done in 72 Earth hours, I think it's safe to assume that's what Shirley meant when she wrote it.
So again, what gives with the lack of disclosure? Blasting Turng and Schroeder is a red herring: their motivation is no mystery.
But if Janet has nothing to hide, then file the notification already.

Shirley is right about this one. Schroeder has vowed to wipe Janet off the planet by any means necessary. This complaint is part of that plan. He just needs to remember that what goes around, comes around.
Team Janet has shown us all what they are about,,,,intelligence, class and a true committment to the people. Janet is doing all the right things to bring the community together, Andrew Do is right there helping her and Phil Greer has her back. Schroeder is simply showing himself for who he really is
That's lovely.
But why can't she just disclose the three donors like the law requires?
The three anonymous contributors are: Tony Lam, Nick Lecong and Margie Rice. Can I get the prize?
Not Tony, not Margie, but may be Nick and his daughter (working for JN ?)are one/two of them. JN could not report it. This is a big problem for JN.
Let wait and see AG comes in town to visit her.
