I don't know where to post this comment, but I feel neglegent in not promoting the appearance the presidential candidate Wayne Root this past Sunday. We had a fantastic event. I should have done my homework better and invited Peggy Goldwater Clay because Wayne is probably Barry Goldwater's number one living fan. He campaigned for Barry at age 3.
Check out www.RootforAmerica.com for more information on Wayne.
We did try to get the word out though by requesting that the event be listed in the Buzz. I am really getting down on the Register these days. I don't know why I even subscribe to it.
Andy,
I would have posted that on my blog if you had sent me an email about it - and I am sure Jubal would have too. Don't be shy! Blogs are always looking for news items and political events to tout.
Thank you Art! I will definately do that. One thing that I will touch on is that Jose Pinera will be coming to Southern California next week. We are working on getting an event for Orange County. If that happens I will let you know.
He is a fantastic speaker. For those who do not know, Jose received a mandate to privatize social security in Chile the day Ronald Reagan was elected. Less than six months later on May 1st, the system was operational.
Christopher Cox pleaded with President Bush to hire Jose to speak to senior groups around the country to pave the way for SS privatization in the US. GW declined.
For anyone who has not heard him speak it is definately something that should be a priority.
