Obama by the numbers...

Obama has been in office for 9 months and at this point it would be appropriate to evaluate his accomplishments, by the numbers:
$1.417 Trillion. The FY 2009 federal deficit, the highest in history and three times the FY 2008 record-setting deficit of $458 billion.
10%. The 2009 deficit as a percentage of GDP, the highest since 1945. Since 1946, it has never surpassed 6%.
$12.104 trillion. The ceiling on the national debt, which Congress will soon have to raise.
$11.952 Trillion. The current national debt, including Treasury Securities held by the government.
$1.325 Trillion. The amount the national debt has increased since Obama was inaugurated. In nine months, President Obama and his allies in Congress have added 9% to the national debt.
$384.4 Billion. The gross interest on the federal debt in fiscal year 2009.
15 million. The number of unemployed Americans on September 30, 2009 [ck], or 9.8% of the workforce. But the real unemployment rate, which includes "discouraged workers, other marginally attached" and people who are forced to work part-time but who are looking for full-time work, is a staggering 16.9%, or 25 million unemployed Americans.
3.6 million. The number of jobs lost since January 20, 2009.
49. The number of states that have lost jobs since the Obama stimulus plan was enacted by Congress.
By a 56%-39% (Real Clear Politics) margin Americans believe the country is on the wrong track and an even larger margin believes that the economy, unemployment and deficit spending are the greatest problem faced by the US.
As the deficit and national debt soar to record levels and unemployment is at its highest levels in decades the Obama Administration and liberals in Congress continue to advocate more federal spending and larger government programs as the cure. This is surreal!
The only person happy about all this is Jimmy Carter... Obama is about to supplant him as the most incompetent president in US history.

In the 9 months that Obama has been in the oval office, he has managed to completely wreck George Bush's legacy.
Under Bush, we were year after year running budget surpluses. We trimmed the national debt by 3.5 trillion dollars. The American middle class was steadily narrowing the gap in the ratio of salary and wages between them and the fat cats. Our private financial structure was steered by Bush's wise hand into being as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar.
American citizens responded to Bush's friendly fireside chats in which he wisely reminded us that individual thrift built a sound nation. People bought only what they could afford. Savings accounts steadily increased. Credit card debt was virtually nil.
Bush steadily guided big business into being conscious that their long term welfare was best served by eschewing short term profits. Businesses that had promoted conspicuous consumption, retooled and supported Bush's thrust toward a thrifty society
Bush did all that while waging a successful war in Afghanistan. The war was so successful, that Bush was able to redirect our forces to Iraq where the truly bad guys operated. Victory was achieved and Bush rightfully declared "Mission Accomplished"
It tis sad that Obama has thrown all that away in such a short period of time. He should be impeached forthwith...

|Ken, we can not wait until January 2013. You need to take leadership in The Impeachment of Barak Hussein Obama. This is much more serious than Clinton getting his ___ ______ in the White House and lying about it. You are at the perfect ground zero to start this movement. We elected a man of great principle and probity to Congress this past November. He is a giant just waiting the mission to suit his stature. Through your encouragement, Tom McClintock would with great vigor, introduce a Bill of Impeachment in the US House of Representatives. The road to Impeachment will be difficult. It will require treasure, sweat, tears, and toil. It will require Churchillian resolve. If not now, when?
