President Obama is addressing the American people in “prime time” for the 4th time in his short Presidency.  According to the President “I will not sign a healthcare bill that adds to the federal deficit”.  And yes, he said it with a straight face. For the record, he has increased the federate deficit more than any other American President.  Regardless of your political persuasion you have call into question the Presidents credibility!

His healthcare legislation has continued to lose support this week. Conservative democrats in congress and across the country are becoming more and skeptical of the “Obamacare” as they learn more details about the four versions of the bill.

There is no question that we are in desperate need of healthcare reform in United States.  The current system lacks efficiency, doctors order entirely too many tests and drug costs are entirely too high.   One of the primary causes for the riding cost of healthcare can be attributed to the frivolous law suits that cause malpractice insurance to climb to absurd heights.  Fear of lawsuits force doctors to request two to three times the number of tests needed to make an accurate diagnosis.  Did I miss the President’s call for tort reform?  No, it is sure bet the Trial Lawyers Association would never let that happen.

Across this great nation families are struggling to make ends during these trying economic times. Many families find it increasingly more difficult to afford basic health care for themselves and their families.  Our number one priority should be making healthcare accessible for every American while making sure those who like their current health care coverage can keep it.  Let’s put patients first, and protects the doctor-patient relationship.

The Democrats “Obamacare” plan is a government takeover of health care that will have devastating consequences for all American families and small businesses.  They are welcome to spin it anyway they like but the result of any government takeover of health care will raise taxes, ration care, and let government bureaucrats make decisions about your healthcare.

The Democratic plan will without question deny access to medical care and life-saving treatments. More than 100 million Americans will lose their current health care. The negative impact on the American economy will be extreme to say the least. Call Congressman and Senator today and tell them to vote on Obamacare.  This is not the answer.

In closing the statement about socialized medicine paying for itself is really pathetic! We are currently over 1.04 Trillion in the hole and if this legislation becomes law that number will grow out of control. Stop Obama’s generational theft before we pass the point of no return.

-Keep these facts in mind: Courtesy of the Heritage Foundations-

 – Approximately 103 million people would be covered under the new public plan and as a consequence about 83.4 million people would lose their private insurance. This would represent a 48.4 percent reduction in the number of people with private coverage.

– About 88.1 million workers would see their current private, employer-sponsored health plan go away and would be shifted to the public plan.

– Yearly premiums for the typical American with private coverage could go up by as much as $460 per privately insured person, as a result of increased cost-shifting stemming from a public plan modeled on Medicare.
