I would like to thank the Malden Republican City Committee for inviting me to speak at their Lincoln Day Breakfast. It was nice to  be in a room with so many energized Republicans.

One of the notable guests at the breakfast was former Secretary of Administration, Charlie Baker. He gave a great speech on Lincoln. It was clear that an overwhelming majority of people in attendance were behind his possible candidacy for Governor.

During Baker's tenure in the Weld cabinet, he earned a reputation of being a bright financial guardian for the Commonwealth. He helped Big Red repeal the service sales tax, balance the budget and cut forty different taxes.

Baker is the right man at the right time.The Commonwealth needs his expertise on fiscal matters.
