Global Warming Hoax Exposed

The inconvenient truth is that there is no global warming. It's a hoax. An Investors' Business Daily editorial lists a number of shortcomings that have and/or will come to light discrediting the Academy Award winning movie and its Nobel Peace Prize winning documentarian, former Vice President Al Gore.

Al Gore has made a fortune ringing the global warming alarmist bell. He sells carbon credits to the gullible who believe the earth is in the death throws caused by our modern world.

To make a long story short--the globe is cooling. As news that the global temperatures are dropping, the environmentalists have changed the terminology from "global warming" to "climate change." A large percentage of the Obama administration's stimulus package is to invest in green technology to combat global climate change. The earth's climate has ebbed and flowed throughout history, and it will continue to do so. Man's activity has little to do with the effects of Mother Nature herself. Solar flares and volcanic activity contribute more inputs into the environment than human activity, yet global warming models presented as "irrefutable" fact have neglected to calculate solar and volcanic activity in their computer simulations and snappy Powerpoint presentations.

Five years ago Canadian researchers Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick found a glitch in the computer software used to calculate global warming. They also uncovered that the leading researcher at MIT on global Warming, Michael Mann, had gamed the numbers by excluding historical climate peaks and valleys. Five years ago the news barely made a blip on the media's radar screen in the United States. But, a British court ruled that there were nine factual errors in the film and ordered that the film could only be shown in English schools with a disclaimer.

In 2007 a volunteer group survey the historical climate data stations in the United States. Approximtely half or the stations were located within feet of heat gaining devices and installations. Here is a quote from the IBD editorial:

Most interesting is a comparison between two California stations located within 40 miles of each other. The station in Orland is isolated from man-made influences and has recorded falling temperatures since the late 19th century. Meanwhile, the Marysville station, once in a remote area but now surrounded by artificial heat sources, has shown increases in temperatures over a similar period.
Now the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Center admits that sensors misread data on the polar ice caps and under reported enough polar ice to cover a land mass the size of California.

When will the headlines scream that we've been mislead by the climate change fear mongers? I, for one, won't hold my breath for the news.
