Sarah Palin's take on the mainstream media

Media Malpractice is the title of an upcoming documentary by former KFI640am host John Ziegler. Based on the two YouTube clips Ziegler has released as previews, I think he is pursuing a noble public service.
The mainstream media may have won a battle by promoting Obama's candidacy, but lost the war. It is clear that the electorate was misinformed and/or uninformed by the majority of traditional media during the 2008 election. The major newspapers all lost circulation during the 2008 election cycle--so much so that the Tribune Co. and the New York Times Co. are fighting for financial survival. The Orange County Register lost 15% of its readership in 2008. I predict that the mainstream media will be the big loser when voters learn that President-Elect Obama isn't the messiah capable of transforming the nation as he was portrayed in the media.

The interview with Governor Palin focuses on how different the media coverage was for the Republican vice presidential candidate and the other ticket.
Ziegler's earlier video and the results of a Zogby poll on how little voters actually understood the candidates and their positions are also available at the link How Obama Got Elected

- Could classism been a factor in why the governor was portrayed in a negative light?
- Were the attacks on her family--especially her unwed pregant teenager--attemps to portray her as anything other than a competent candidate?
- Why was Obama's assertation that his family was off-limits honored while the Palins were under siege? Was this a double standard?
- Were lies spread by bloggers responsible for inaccurate reporting in the mainstream media?
