There Were 'Thousands' of Supporters At The Colorado Springs Rally Today

So the New York Times tells us.

Thousands of enthusiastic supporters greeted them at an airport rally in Colorado Springs, where the crowd waved a sea of flags and chanted "Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin."

When someone tells you 'thousands were there, what numbers come to mind? 2000? 3000? So how many 'thousands' are we talking about? Check out and below the picture from today's rally.

Great photo! I think people are underestimating how close this election will be. Palin was a great pick as it elevates McCAin and gives him a dynamic force as an outsider. I think the MSM polls are going to continue to narrow. There is an interesting poll at http://www.bop-o-rama.com. This site was launched on July 30th and has had over 2,000,000 hits. Here are the current numbers and remember, the lower number is winning.
