When someone tells you 'thousands were there, what numbers come to mind? 2000? 3000? So how many 'thousands' are we talking about? Check out and below the picture from today's rally.

Thousands of enthusiastic supporters greeted them at an airport rally in Colorado Springs, where the crowd waved a sea of flags and chanted "Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin."

Great photo! I think people are underestimating how close this election will be. Palin was a great pick as it elevates McCAin and gives him a dynamic force as an outsider.
