Three Reasons the Biden Pick was A Obama Mistake

I have been amazed how the so-called mainstream media is so desperate to elect Barack Obama that they have completely missed the fact the choosing of Joe Biden was a huge mistake for Barack Obama. There are three simple reasons why the choice will hurt Obama's campaign.
The media has tried to focus on Senator Biden's foreign policy experience. While true he has sat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee along time, that doesn't equal being right on foreign policy. Biden has been wrong on many issues. He opposed Reagan's foreign policy, He voted against the first Gulf war. In short he is a Liberal. No different than Obama.
There is one difference. Biden voted for the War in Iraq. Was he wrong? Is he going to say that after 30 years of "experience" and intelligence briefings he was duped? How does this square with Barack Obama that was so smart he opposed the war?
The second problem is his experience. Every time Biden and Obama talk about foreign policy, Obama's weakness and inexperience will show. A great quip in a debate would be for someone to tell Obama to go and ask Joe? It will highlight he is not cut out to be Commander and Chief.
The third problem is with the media's perception that somehow Biden will reach working class folks and Catholics. Big error number three. Anytime a nominee for federal office has been a Catholic that support baby killing there are problem. We have already seen it. The Bishop of Denver says he shouldn't take communion, protests etc... It highlights the pro-abortion nature of the Democratic ticket. In the states that are tossups abortion cuts against the Democratic nominee. Why would they want to highlight it?
I know these kinds of decisions are above my pay grade, but it just doesn't make sense in a close election to make such a poor pick. The media may love it, but the voters won't.
