It is amazing what anger motivates some people to do.
Will this bleed votes off of McCain?
I hope what this does, is makes McCain pay attention to his conservative base. Barr is excellent on Guns and Borders - two Issues McCain has become horrid at.
This is going to be a bizarre Presidential election cycle - the First Black nominee, a Kool-Aid fight at the DNC Convention... The Republican is a pre-cambrian Vietnam Vet and now there is a deranged former Congressman with national name ID in the race. Where the hell is Michael Bloomberg? (Maybe Gary Coleman should run for Governor, too...)

The only people I know who are excited about McCain are liberal Democrats. No conservative Republicans - not a one.

I think it depends on who McCain chooses to run with him as to how much Barr really wants to pursue this spoiler thing. I think that Barr senses that Charlie Christ has amped up his campaign for the VP slot lately. This is not random timing on Barr's part. This puts McCain in a big time squeeze. Does he want Florida as a path to the WH or should he appease Barr and try to find another path?
