What if a Major presidential candidate showed up for a fundraiser and no elected officials showed up? You can ask Hillary Clinton exactly that.

Pasadena is a liberal town now that the old ladies the Beach Boys sang about are gone. At her fundraiser held before she appearance on the Tonight Show, no Congressman, no Mayor, and no City Council Members, No School Board members.  Not even the dean of Pasadena Democrats, former Attorney General John Van de Kamp. No wonder Clinton's Super Delgate lead keeps dwindling.

I consulted several local candidates running for various local offices in Pasadena. I was pretty stunned. Nobody! Then again somebody doesn't want to hitch themselves to someone who is sinking.
