AMERICAN HISTORY: John Adams Mini-Series

Last night, part one of a seven part mini-series on HBO premiered about the founding of our nation as seen through the eyes of one of our finest, John Adams. Based on the book, "1776" by David McCullough, the mini-series promises to entertain as much as it does to teach. If viewers gain nothing beyond an appreciation for the vision, leadership, and courage of our Founding Fathers, the mini-series will be a tremendous success.
We would welcome someone (a history buff, a legal scholar, a patriot, etc.) to offer an episode-by-episode analysis of the movie and compare the challenges of that period with those of modern day America. If interested, please contact us at inquiries@redcounty.com.

I watched it twice last night. Can't wait for the next episode.
Thank goodness it's seven episodes, I thought it might just be the one. Phenomenal show from what I saw.
As a staunch history buff I find this series thrilling. To see the correct representation of the struggles our forefathers had to endure does them justice far beyond that of an history book.
One can only feel the anxiousness of the 2nd Continental Congress as they enter into unknown territory with the siging of the Declaration of Independence.
I have seen each of the first two episodes twice and will be watching the third at 9 pm on Sunday.
