Hucka-bye-bye

Huckabee farewell.jpgOk seriously now.  It's getting old.  I don't see how Mike Huckabee can continue on with this "Well I didn't major in math" business.  I think a 5 year old could look at the numbers and know it's over.  Here are the totals according to the CNN Election Center delegate totals:

John McCain: 827

Mitt Romney: 286
Mike Huckabee: 217
Ron Paul: 16

So far, that is 1,346 of the 2,380 total delegates that will be given out.  Mike Huckabee now needs 974 of the remaining 1,034 delegates to win the nomination with the 1,191 needed.  Somehow, I don't think he is about to get 94.2% of the remaining delegates, but what do I know?

Huckabee's main goal for the last eight weeks of campaigning was not to become President.  His goal was only to systematically attack and destroy Mitt Romney's character in attacks whenever he could.  He stayed in the race despite losing primary after primary only to take votes away from Mitt Romney (I don't think it was as many as most people think, but I do think it affected Romney negatively).

His strategy worked, and Mitt Romney, being the man of class that he is, suspended his campaign to become President so as not to stall a National Campaign for John McCain.  Now Mike Huckabee ceases to do the same despite still trailing Mitt Romney in delegates despite staying in the race through seven additional states.

This race was never about winning for Mike Huckabee and it still isn't.  It's time for him to let John McCain begin to prepare for the difficult battle ahead and do what's right for his Party.  Get off the stage Mike.

The longer this joker stays in the race, the more recriminations he should receive from leadership: Stay in, and your career and hopes for a future over.

I wish Robert Stack and Karl malden were still alive. They hosted a riddle-solving TV show called Unsolved Mysteries and maybe they could try to explain Huckabee's appeal.

Huckabee is a joke.

Who the hell made you people annointments of WHO runs WHAT in the Republican Party?? Who the hell made you poeple THE final determiners of Who can run, WHEN they need to quit, and WHAT happens to them if they don't??

And you clowns call yourselfs, Republicans??
You people are more symbolic of the fruit loop Lefty Demos. Jesus.......get a friggen grip.

You talk about lining up behind mcshame...for what?
Screw mcshame!!! If anything, the party should shoot itself for limiting us to some a-wipe, selfserving hoot, who's trying to ride on his " I was a NAM vet " coattails. As if.............

Nam Vet??? You're an embarrassment sir......you screwed yourself over THE DAY, you announced to the world that OUR SOLDIERS currently are torturing those so called, POW's in Guantanimo. They're terrorists.
They HAVE no Geneva Convention rights to protection, and for your FORMER POW a*** to say, today's soldiers are torturers?!?!?!?!?!

We've been cramed down our throat, a twit called mcshame. WE, the conservatives now have to listen ( again ) to so called Moderate Republicans, TELL us what's good for our party. Guess what? Bump you.

Moderates are desparate for mcshame to win in Nov....thing is, he isn't. The Conservative base will NEVER rally around his wannabe conserve self, and it's already BEEN proven, and continues to be proven which is WHY YOU people want Huckabee to cease. What was romney's promise?? VP slot IF he threw in with mcshame??

Like that doofus doolittle in 4th Congressional district of CA............this ain't HIS MAJESTY's throne.

It's ELECTED TOO OFFICE, NOT ANNIONTED.

Obviously, it's painfully clear, WE as Conservatives need to clean the house of our PARTY, from moderate Republicans who BELIEVE they are ' privileged and EXPECT ' to be elected, no matter what, soley becuase they have an R by their name.

I don't believe you hacks for one moment about Huckabee's failures to get his delegates. What I DO believe, is YOUR INability to stop the blood letting mcshame is showing the world that he's NOT the darling of the Republican Party, YOU people ( and the media ) try to make him out to be.

Personally? You people have created this crap. So, if I were you, I'd seriously find out WHO is going to beat Obama in the 2012 election for President of the Unitied States of America, cause from where I sit??
He looks like he's going to take it.
Then again, I'm no hack, but my instincts sure have been a helluva lot closer than YOUR poll numbers have shown.

Sir, if you are a Conservative, then I am not.

Leo of Sacramento said:

I guess then sir, you most definately aren't.
Cause obviously, you've done as most pro-mcshame people do....dodge the question.

Thank you for your limited response.

You prove my point, again.

Fighting on the internet is like winning the special Olympics, guys. Quite funny to watch, but none of you will win anything in the end.

No offense Leo, but if there was a question in the middle of your senseless rambling, Eniap was not the only one who missed it.

Coherence goes a long way in making a point...

danconia,

since simplicity isn't a sgtrong suit of intellectuals??

Let me make it even simplier for you:

WHY do have to suffer with mcshame?
WHY are people so upset Huckabee is staying his course? ( Please note, HIS course )
WHY hasn't the R party slammed mcshame over his terrorist-torture remarks disparraging our troops?

there, that should be at least, the beginning.
