Can't the Media Count: Nevada is the Real Prize

To become the Republican Nominee for President of the United States you have to have a majority of GOP Delegates. So on Saturday why is all the focus on South Carolina when Nevada has the most delegates at stake?
That's right! South Carolina violated RNC rules and their delegate count was reduced to 24. Nevada has 34 total.
Now, I know South Carolina is a vital part of the process. But, this is a numbers game and whatever campaign can't count will end up losing regardless of what the media says.

Mike -- It's more a tradition. Michigan certainly has more delegates than New Hampshire, but the latter state got a lot more media attention. Nevada is too new, too untested for most observers to care.
One Who Knows - So by your logic, should we just let the media decide? Perhaps the fate of candidates should not be determined by the number of votes and delegates one earns, but by the numbers of political correspondents the media decides to send to a given state. Interesting...
RNC rules state that Caucuses do not lose delegates for starting prior to Feb. 5th, but Primaries do. However, Caucuses don't decide elections, voters (Primaries) do. Spence is getting nervous about his Reagan hating candidate, http://youtube.com/watch?v=3hmzEtCHP0Y. Aide from Utah, Nevada will probably be the only time Romney wins another state.

I will never win after tonight. Nevada was my last hoo-rah.
