Even though I don't write much about the Democratic Primary, but once in a while, something like this deserves the attention of our readers. Remember that great speech Barack Obama delivered after his stunning victory in the Iowa Caucuses? Last night's concession speech after his narrow defeat in the New Hampshire Democratic Primary was even better. An MSNBC anchor described it as, "the best political speech in modern history..." Tommy - fortunately for all of us... Hillary's ego won't allow such a ticket.
Obama is proving to be a dynamic and scary socialist candidate. I fear him more than Hillary if he gets the nod.
Aaron, I concur and would like to have an opponent in Hillary Clinton rather than Obama. Clinton is someone we can demonize and fire up the base.
He is has a great speech writing staff and gives a good delivery for sure. A lot of people like that charismatic feel good stuff and will vote for him just for that reason. The Oprah factor was timed perfectly too. But what is his real plan other than "change" and "yes we can?"
Let me start by pointing out the obvious: GW is not his Father, and that being said, calling him a "Lame Duck" is disrepectful to a misunderstood President.
That being said, in the absence of any "GW BUSH" for Republicans to rally behind this election cycle, Obama is portrayed as a cross between JFK & our own Lincoln all wrapped up in a plebian-friendly package that Mr. & Mrs. America can swallow hook, line and sinker come next November.
My question to those who have spent time analyzing this fellow as our opponent in the General is: DOes this guy have enough actual experience to by even remotely worthy of becoming or President???
I agree that Hillary will be much easier to demonize and beat like a "red-headed stepchild" in the press, but is scary in that apathetic & ignorant Americans may foolishly vote for him...
In good OC fashion, Let Us Pray for (Republican) Wisdom to prevail.
