Marti Emerald - Positively Mixed Message in Mailer
By Mr. Murphy | 10/17/08
After the flogging Liberal Marti Emerald took running in the June primary running as a "Watchdog" (presumably a watchdog that doesn't bark very loud, ahem), she retooled her slogan and for November it is "Positively". Presumably that slogan means that Marti was going to run a 'positive' campaign. I was looking forward to that. That's why I was surprised today when a friend showed me a Marti Emerald campaign mailer he recieved Thursday slamming... read more »

Stars Feeding the GOP Base... THANKS!
By Mr. Murphy | 09/19/08
I find it endlessly amusing that various 'stars' think that their comments on the Presidential election should be taken seriously. What is best is they have the reverse impact they think that they are having: they alienate the Republican base, the middle class, and anyone not from LA or NY. So anyway I thought I'd start a list of stars who pop off. I'll add to it as I see more, and welcome additions with links. I'll post them every so... read more »

A MUST READ - Gallup Tracking, Democrat Surge in Full Retreat
By Mr. Murphy | 09/12/08

While both Republicans and Democrats are pretty much for the candidates of their party, the huge movement has come from Independent voters, who are now nearly split.
