Warner Todd Huston recently re-posted the very inciteful interview that Meg Whitman had with Jon Fleishman of the Flash Report.

In said interview - Whitman staked out a fringe-left position on the Abortion issue. This seems to dovetail well with past interviews where Whitman praised the (then) largest tax increase in State history, said we can't enforce immigration laws, said we shouldn't raise taxes "right now", and on and on...

Since a few interviews in the beginning of her campaign - her staff has kept her away from local media. Even that has been a disaster as George Will attempted to carry her water exposing that she wants to make initiatives impossible and shrink the assembly.

But this interview with Fleischman could be signaling a change. Whitman had to know that Fleischman was going to hit her on the Abortion issue - unless Whitman believes that life is not important and those that fight to defend life are not important.

In addition - I am wondering who else has interviewed Whitman, are there going to be more puff peices coming and fair assessments of a Liberal fromer Corporate CEO running under the Republican label?
