Whitman Principle Number One - Campaign Nationally.
 
Recently another one of those pesky local papers blogged about a Whitman Cinderella Appearance in Kern County.
 
Flip the article over and read the last sentence -  Whitman has been through Bakersfield several times in recent months but hasn't yet stopped for media interviews.
 
Whitman is apparently hitting a who's who of Kevin McCarthy / Arnold donors - but doesn't have time for the 15 minutes a media interview would take.

I am wondering if her campaign has her sequestered whenever Whitman Principle Number Two - If you have to talk to the local media, script it, can't be employed.
 
Leave out the list of Arnold donors and the parts about how they helped put the current Governor in place - leave out the fact that Whitman's staff (well over 100 now) are like an Arnold reunion...
 
Meanwhile - Meg swoops into Kern County and stiffs the local media again, just like she did two months ago at the CRA convention. (which was in Bakersfield)

Why? It is really looking like Meg Whitman is not ready for Prime-Time...
