Mark Kirk Aiding Pro-Homosexual Lobby?
By Warner Todd Huston | 09/14/09 | 01:09 AM EDT | 0 Comments
Laurie Higgins recently found another disturbing vote cast by Representative and Senate Candidate Mark Kirk (R, IL) revealing again his penchant of voting left of center all too often. This time he's co-sponsoring a bill that will aid the homosexual lobby gain more influence in our schools.
Higgins reveals that Kirk is looking to vote "yes" on H.R. 2262, The Safe Schools Improvement Act -- a so-called anti-bullying act. What could be wrong with being anti-bullying?
Anyone who has been paying attention knows that anti-bullying/safe schools curricula are now the central means by which pro-homosexual propaganda is secreted into public schools. There is 1 sponsor and 81 co-sponsors for this bill. Of those 82, only 2 are Republicans. Guess who one of them is. Yes, "Republican" Mark Kirk is once again revealing his affinity for legislation that contributes to the normalization of homosexuality.
What does this bill do? Well, for one, it "presents homosexuality, bisexuality, 'transgenderism,' and 'transsexuality,' (more properly known as gender identity disorder)" as protected activities and treats any criticism of any of these aberrant behaviors as a hate crime.
Now, certainly no one is pro-bullying. To say that opposition to normalizing the aberrant behaviors this bill delineates is somehow pro-bully is demagoguery at best. But there is no reason to normalize these isms nor is it a good idea to give the radical gay lobby any more reason to interfere in our children's education in order to sexualize them and expose them to homosexual behavior.
Yet Kirk was only one of two Republicans that joined 80 Democrats in sponsoring or co-sponsoring this bill. As Higgins says, it shows how far Kirk will go to favor the radical homosexual lobby.
