Guffawing on the 4^th of July at Jay’s expense!

As I passed this ridiculous piece around to a few Boeing insiders; the return emails indicated hails of laughter resulted. It could have only come from a completely out of touch Congressman who is widely regarded as one of the dullest tools in the Congressional shed! Patty Murray has that title over in the US Senate. On top of that it comes from the ‘business section’ of the widely disrespected Everett Herald.

What is so funny? Shopping Boeing Executives have their eyes on Vought Industries in South Carolina and have pulled out their debit card in Chicago. This development brought these remarks by Inslee: “I don’t think this necessarily means bad news for us.” Then Inslee follows with this comment: “Management…(at Boeing)…they’re concerned with….union work stoppages (strikes)!” Then he said that the Machinists are NOT TO BLAME for the Boeing troubles with the 787, it’s the Boeing outsourcing that is the real problem. Inslee is knows that the worst is coming and is trying to spin his way out of it.  Unfortunately his comments are obviously completely out of touch with the current reality: Boeing is going elsewhere with its second 787 production line and there is little anyone can do about it. The short and long term impact on Snohomish County and Inslee’s Congressional District will be stark to say the least, economically.  Jay knows he could have problems in next years Congressional elections.

It is no big secret that Boeing is about to purchase one of their biggest aircraft component suppliers the Vought Aircraft Industries in North Charleston, S.C. That word leaked out from a real newspaper weeks ago. It is clear that South Carolina is now #1 one on a short list that at this stage consists of only 2 entries: South Carolina and Southern California for the second production line for the 787. The Southern California entry in these sweepstakes is the former McD facility at Long Beach! I understand that the State of California is so desperate for the Boeing production line that Governor Terminator himself is prepared to give away the store and the Unions in the Southland have promised a “no strike” environment and a contract to prove it.

I know that Inslee is ‘flying high’ in his own little ‘Obama make believe stimulus world’, but I thought I would try and get him on the NAV/COM uplink and let him know that this article in the Everett Herald of all places and his comments make him look like just another brain dead Congressman! Sort of a public service by me to Jay, even though the guy is a worshiping ‘Obama Democrat’: “Ground to Jay Inslee, ground to Jay Inslee, come in please, over”! “Your comments were widely regarded as nothing more than fantasy Bravo Sierra, Jay. Are you still on planet earth, over?”
