Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca may increase the number of condoms passed out in the segregated section for gay inmates. Next he will pass out KY and hot towels.
New LAUSD board members get sworn in. They have big plans and no money.
El Monte considers bankruptcy. $ They managed a $12 million deficit. The council should run for the state legislature.
LAPD names Muslim Chaplain. Check out the reporting from the Los Angeles Times about Sheik Qazi Asad,:
"He got involved with law enforcement after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca asked Asad to join a news conference at which Baca and other elected leaders demonstrated their solidarity with the embattled Muslim community."
That is how are Sheriff thinks. After Sept. 11 the Muslim community was embattled? Like they had people flying planes into buildings.
