The Left Wing Mantra of Hate Speech
By Angela F. F. Davis | 06/14/09 | 12:47 PM EDT | 5 Comments
This week the Left Wing Liberals are reverting to a well-practiced old script in their playbook. Democrats are attacking conservatives by accusing them of using hate speech. The latest example is the senseless shooting by an obviously deranged old man at the Holocaust Center a few days ago. Vicious attacks have been made against the Right Wing accusing them of fomenting the hatred that led to the deadly incident. All this while they refused to cover senseless killing in our nation of two young U.S. soldiers by a self-admitted, home grown, Muslim extremist.
The Democrat’s hate speech mantra is pure irony given the remarks earlier this week by CBS late night jokester David Letterman. These remarks are the latest and most blatant type of actual hate speech that is continually being spewed out of the mouths of intolerant Democrats.
Letterman said during his Monday night show:
"One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."
CBS has refused to impose a fine, penalty, or any sanction against Letterman's disgusting remarks about Palin's 14-year old daughter Willow. To date, "The Late Show" has not commented on the issue.
Of course Letterman has refused to issue an apology to the Palin family. He simply back-pedaled saying he intended the remarks toward her daughter Bristol, 18 years old, not the 14 year old Willow who accompanied Govern Palin to the game.
Most Democrats interviewed by the media have tried to deflect the outrage over Letterman's sick wit by calling it a joke or further demonstrating the Democrat’s hate by stating that Sarah Palin herself exposed her daughter to such comments.
From Governor Palin:
"Concerning Letterman's comments about my young daughter (and I doubt he'd ever dare make such comments about anyone else's daughter): 'Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is not only disgusting, but it reminds us some Hollywood/NY entertainers have a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands -- that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others."
Do most people think it worthy of a good laugh? Letterman referring to Palin's youngest daughter who is only 14 year's old being raped by NY Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez? Letterman went on that same night to say, also, that the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate's style was that of a "slutty flight attendant."
Letterman appears to be oversubscribed in terms of his time commitment to the show. I say this, because his scraping at the bottom of the barrel reflects the obvious lack of material.
Nice.
Question to David Letterman: Remove Palin's daughter from the joke and insert one of President Obama's. Does the joke still work for you folks?
Nope, and it doesn't work with anybody's young daughter's name attached to it.
It is not okay.
After hearing the statements this past Monday evening I immediately sent an email to David Letterman's Show, letting them know that I have, through the years, when up that late, been known to watch. I had never had a problem with Letterman until this week. My e-mail sign off said that they could consider themselves boycotted by my family.
The Letterman brand for me is tarnished beyond repair. Those of you that know me understand that I'll be strictly keeping that promise. I invite all of you to let Letterman know your thoughts. His humor on this issue was premeditated and tossed around amongst his show producers before it landed on late night TV. A group of folks at CBS vetted his materials prior to the show Monday night and thought it was funny enough to use.
Disgusting.

Letterman is a comedian and sometimes comedians go overboard. That being said, Letterman clearly has a political ideology at play here. He makes it quite obvious where he stands and in recent years has started using his show as a political forum. Go back and look at some of the inteviews he has done. He's a hack.

|Lighten up guys! Dave is a wacko but, funny enough to keep his job, perhaps
getting a bit senile. Now he's even a father although I know younger "GRAND fathers.
As to CBS , it's a liberal networ, but, so what.
Watch and enjoy, boycott a sponsor if you must.
Write your own top ten lists.
You sound like liberals I know who won't listen to Fox.
You are all "over sensitized " and ready to be injured and ready to hide
behind a "boycott" when tickled with. You could hire John Edwards and bring suit.
Finally, Yes Palin could be played by a slutty flight attendants.
Tina Fay did it.
Do you boycott SNL too.
Lighten up, laugh and don't act like a liberal.

|Dear Anonymous,
Your remarks further demonstrate the support liberals have to engage in their
hate speech mantra. Thank you for simply accentuating my original point.
Fact is, you don't get it: child rape doesn't belong on anyone's top-ten list.

|Comedians generally do go too far, especially when they're trying to get a laugh. If you're tired of foul mouthed comedians, check out one of the great clean comedians.
