Margett's Education bill signed by Governor Schwarzenegger

On August 19, 2008, we reported on legislation by Senator Bob Margett (R-Glendora) to close loophole that allows teachers who plead contest no contest to specified sex and drug offenses to continue teaching in the classroom. 

Margett: Lasting Legacy SB 1105 passes State Senate

Now, Senator Margett reports that Governor Schwarzenegger has signed his bill, which will soon become law.

Thank you, Governor for signing a bipartisan education bill.  Congratulations to Senator Margett for protecting the children that attend California public schools.
