McCain/Palin Is The Opposite of Obama/Biden & Bush/Cheney

The Obama campaign (followed by their minions in the mainstream media) are criticizing Sarah Palin of being too inexperienced to be "a heartbeat away from the Presidency". This is obviously a play on the Republican's criticism that Obama himself has little qualification to
be President.
But I have come to the conclusion that McCain/Palin represents the opposite of Obama/Biden. If you are going to have a candidate that is weak on experience, it makes sense for that candidate to be on the bottom of the ticket. Whereas the Democrats have nominated what is essentially the very ticket they hate the most; modeled after the Bush/Cheney ticket. Bush was the less experienced candidate and the thought was that Dick Cheney would offer the experience that Bush didn't have. How funny is that?
My conclusion here is that John McCain is one sneaky guy. He has basically created a ticket that will cause the Democrats to criticize (over and over) his ticket for what they themselves are guilty of. Every time your average American voter hears the Dems say that Palin is too inexperienced, they will quickly be reminded by Republicans that is why she is on the ticket as the Vice President rather than the President.
Good job John! Feel free to pass this message along.

'Feel free to pass this message along'
I just did - I 'passed' it along with the other turds I evacuated down my toilet..
The headline floored me - linking Obama/Biden with Bush/Cheney? Is there anything you right wingers won't pull out of your butts?
The Obama team and supporters who will be criticizing his choice for someone who has "little or no experience" will be, IMHO, just shooting themselves in the foot as then it's makes one think of the comparison of Palin vs Biden would lead to the comparison of McCain vs Obama... and then the comparison of the two 40 somethings in the race... Palin and Obama.
On Nov 4th, Sen Obama would be President and therefore, head of the US
world's strongest power in the free world.
On Nov 4th, Gov Palin would be VP... a heartbeat away from the Presidency...
but most importantly... she would not be President.
In summary -
An unexperienced younger Pres + experienced older VP versus experienced old Pres + unexperienced younger VP.
People need to ask themselves, which one is ready to run the US today ?
John Mccain-Sarah Palin is no match for Barak-Bidden Barak Obama's has my vote and everyone else I no .palin-Mccain not for a change. Mccain picked Palin to try to win the race for president. but god don't like ugly and this is just what this is an ugly mess.and keep on trying mccain because you'll never get it. GO BARAK-BIDDEN GO
To the Democrat operatives out there...
When you send your people to write trash on Republican sites make sure that they are educated and know basic spelling and grammar. It is very hard to take you seriously when you communicate like a high school dropout.
I agree Grace. Trolls should graduate from troll school before attending to grown up blog discussions.
Trish, you had better learn how to spell the name of YOUR candidate's ticket too!
It's BIDEN .... B i d e n (1-D)
I'd rather be waterboarded than vote for John McCain.
That is a very spiffy comment Kristine K. Care to elaborate?
BTW: Did you know that John McCain is AGAINST waterboarding?
This facile post seems to illustrate everything that is not only wrong with American politics and the subsequent electorate, but also the flaws in the election process which right-wingers seek to exploit in order to get most people to vote in line with their egos and not for what's best for America and the American people. Namely, this poster has ignored not just any but every issue, every single one, in order to make a fairly ridiculous point based not on positions but on 'character.' One remembers the McCain spokesman who opined this election is not about 'issues' but about 'character.' Obama, then, is more like Bush because he is 'inexperienced' (his years as a law professor and Harvard fellow waived away, perhaps as 'elitist egghead-ery,' as lord knows no Republican has an interest in an educated president) and thus is the same as the inexperienced Bush. Nevermind the 90% of the time that McCain voted with Bush, nor the mind that Bush, McCain and Palin are all low-grade students to compare with Obama's top-of-his-class achievement, or the privilege to which Bush was born to and McCain married (adulterously) into, or even to just about every issue of the day in which Bush, McCain, and Palin agree and Obama and Biden do not. This post is outrageous (by design, of course, in order to attract attention) but more yielding than a spear made of papier-mâché.
This was not a post ab out issues. It was an observation about the make-up of the tickets as they stood just as Palin was announced as the VP candidate. "Anon September 14, 2008 10:39 AM" is pointlessly pointing out that this campaign is not about the issues. The candidates are throwing barbs at each other while the media throws in with the Democrats. The horrible claims we have heard from Randi Rhodes and the Hollywoodies has not helped. "Anon September 14, 2008 10:39 AM" is mad that McCain/Palin is fighting back, not "just taking the beating he seems to think we are due because Bush was President for 8 years. Sorry to report to you Anon, but your boy is a LOSER and he picked and even bigger LOSER as his VP. Now Obama is flailing like a boxer with both of his eyes boxed shut. This election will be over after the 1st debate as John McCain is clearly going to wipe the floor with Mr. Teleprompter and Sarah Palin will run circles around Joe Biden who will be too busy bloviating and inserting foot in mouth to realize what a moron he is coming off as.
Should have nominated Clinton, or at least put her on the ticket.
I find the title misleading. A comparison based solely on something as simplistic as the President on the ticket having less experience than the Vice President is more than slightly ridiculous.
Granted, I do see a point to this issue. But I think the greater concern is how exactly these two inexperienced persons in question have presented themselves.
Obama acknowledges a lack of experience, but his education and background show him as a determined man who is intellegent enough to recognize that he will need assistance, something that appears to be lacking in our current president.
And mainly what I see is Palin trying very hard to appeal to women and the "grassroots" of America. Unfortunately she is unable to make much impact outside of that area. She comes off as too far right wing and alienates much of younger America. Few should blame her for her child getting pregnant...it is the reaction to it that creates an issue in my mind.
She comes off as ill-educated on the politics of her candidate and the only politically intellegent move I've heard her making is to joke about the Tina Fey SNL episode. Because let's face it...that portrayal was just a little bit too perfect for her to ignore.
I guess she's found out the real secret; if she's a joke to the general American populace she might as well be making some jokes as well.
