ALERT: MTA Sales Tax Increase to go on the ballot

It appears that Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe will switch his vote from "No" to "Yes" to proceed with the transit sales tax increase to be put on the countywide ballot.

How will this change affect the bill by Assemblyman Mike Feuer (D-Los Angeles) AB 2321, which is pending in the State Senate?

It is very distressing to hear Supervisor Knabe is going to allow this vote to take place, despite his opposition to the sales tax increase, which doesn't make any sense.

There must be more to the story and behind the scenes going on between MTA and the Board of Supervisors.
