Water Official Alvarez: Slap on the Wrist

Xavier Alvarez faced justice on his hoax claims regarding the "Medal of Honor" charge at federal court in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, three years of probation, one year of community service and $5,000 fine is just a slap on the wrist for Mr. Alvarez, because the charges were a misdemeanor.

Now, it is imperative for Congress to change the statute from a misdemeanor to a felony if anyone misuses the "Medal of Honor" claims.  We should take this seriously!

We need justice, because the men and women in uniform deserves respect, especially those that have earn their "Medal of Honor" through honor, duty and country.
