Socialists, Los Angeles City Council Oppose George Runner

The Party For Socialism and Liberation and the Los Angeles City Council are on the same page. Gangs for everyone! Both of these groups oppose the the "Safe Neighborhoods Act" or as they call it the "Runner Initiative".
In an ideal world gang prevention and enforcement wouldn't be needed. Memo to the L.A. City Council and Socialists everywhere. The proletariat in L.A. is suffering because of gangs. People are being killed. People live in fear.
Obviously, neither Socialists nor the L.A. City Council (except for Greig Smith) are about the working classes. I guess instead of better off red than dead they think people are better of dead. Period.

Problem is this initiative will cost taxpayers $500 million a year, and a one time cost of $500 million for new prisons how will we pay for it? We are in the red and I do not want to authorize any more spending.
Yes, we want safe streets and not having to read about two or three people being shot dead in our communities. However it needs a revenue source.
