Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC) Chairman Linda Boyd announced at the RPLAC meeting last Thursday that she plans to run for her last and final term as Chairman for the 2009-2010 term.
Mrs. Boyd will use her last term with hope find the new Chairman for the 2011-2012 term, which will make the transition easier to ensure that RPLAC remains viable in Los Angeles County through fundraising efforts, increase GOP registration and build up on what RPLAC has accomplished since 2003.
It has been my privileged to have known Linda for over 5 years, not just as my Chairman but as a friend. She has worked tiredlessly to make the GOP in Los Angeles County just as competitive as any county in California.
Los Angeles County has 26 Assembly Districts and over 100 RPLAC Central Committee Members, whom are elected for two-year terms by registered Republicans from a respective Assembly District.

If I had a cocktail, I would lift it in honor of Doug and Linda Boyd for their tireless work on behalf of the LA GOP. It was a pleasure to serve on the CRP board with them both. You have more than earned whatever rest is coming after the next term.
