L.A. City Council To Declare War On George Runner

Say what you want about the Los Angeles City Council. If someone, in this case State Senator George Runner gets involved in pushing a measure that targets criminals and gang members they won't let that go without a fight!

George Runner is one of the key people behind the Safe Neighborhoods Act. Citizens will get a chance to vote on it in November. Los Angeles City Councilman Cardenas has a vote scheduled to place the Los Angeles City Council on record opposing that act tomorrow. Click here for details.

Of course he does. The initiative eliminates bail for illegal aliens and stiffens penalties for gang involved crimes.

Those are fighting words for some on the council. This is one war Runner will win..
