Los Angeles County Superior Court Judges: Vote for Who?
Posted by: Allen Wilson | 05/15/2008 10:07 PM
Another election, another sample ballot ritual has arrived in the mailboxes throughout Los Angeles County with the litany of offices to choose from along with names that are foreign to the voters.
The office of Superior Court Judge should not be dismissed, because this particular position carries much weight in upholding the rule and spirit of the law.
I commend all the candidates that are willing to step up to the plate to run for this particular office. However, there are good and fair minded professionals that deserves our vote to serve on the bench:
The Republican Party of Los Angeles County endorses the following Republican candidates:
Office # 84 - Pat Connolly
Office # 119 - Robert Davenport
Office # 154 - Michael V. Jesic
The Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs endorses the following candidates for Judge of the Superior Court:
Office # 94 - Michael J. O'Gara
Office # 95 - Lance Winters
Office # 123 - Kathleen Blanchard
Office # 154 - Michael Jesic
Therefore, there is nothing ritual in this particular election for Superior Court Judge. As we all know that we take our democratic right to vote seriously and these candidates deserves your attention to their experience as they understand the meaning of "Justice Under the Law".

As a candidate for office 72, of the Los Angeles Superior Court, I am pleased that I am in the run off. I was a registered Republican from my 18th birthday until just this year. I would apprciate your consideration in November for this position.
