This came over the transcom. Gabriella Holt is picking up more endorsements. The most prominent is Eunice Sato the former Mayor of Long Beach. I meet Eunice back in the late 1980's she is a respected, classy lady. She was never ashamed to be a Republican, like some electeds are. Nice pickup for Team Holt.
Long Beach Needs a New Leader Like Holt
Palos Verdes Peninsula - The Gabriella Holt for Assembly campaign has announced the endorsement of former Long Beach Mayor Eunice Sato and former Long Beach City Councilman Jerry Shultz.
"After looking at the candidates seeking to represent Long Beach in the Assembly, I am convinced that Gabriella Holt is exactly the kind of fresh new voice we need in Sacramento," said Sato. "I will be voting for her in June and November."
Sato was the first woman to be elected Mayor of Long Beach. She spent more than a decade representing the people of Long Beach on the City Council and as Mayor.
Shultz spent eight years on the Long Beach City Council and one term on the Long Beach Unified School District Board of Education. He is a retired Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff that currently serves in the California State Military Reserve.
"This is a great honor for me," said Holt. "Eunice is one of the icons of Long Beach and Jerry is someone with a lifetime of public service."
Holt is a Registered Nurse and Teacher that spent eight years on the local school board. She has been endorsed by a long list of local elected officials and organizations.
