Huff for Senate Campaign Headquarters: Open for Business!

Posted by: Allen Wilson | 05/04/2008 10:00 PM

Assemblyman Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar), candidate for State Senate, held a Grand Opening of a new campaign headquarters in the heart of beautiful downtown San Dimas on Bonita Avenue.

In previous campaigns, Bob Huff's campaign office for City Council and Assembly has always been in his hometown of Diamond Bar.  However, the headquarters in San Dimas is just perfect (not too far from Diamond Bar), because it makes feel like you are at home with family and friends.

The 29th State Senate District covers huge territory from small portion of Sunland-Tujunga, Sierra Madre to Claremont on the north, down south to La Habra, Brea, Placentia, Yorba Linda and Chino and Chino Hills on the east.

The event attracted about 50 loyal and strong supporters of Bob Huff, whom are ready to hit the phones, walk the precincts to elect a leader, not just a name!

Assemblyman Huff thanked his supporters for coming out and taking time out of their busy schedules on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to attend the grand opening of the Huff for State Senate campaign headquarters.

Yeah! Vote for Bob Huff. Look how well we've done with the republicans for the last 8 years!

You've got to be kidding, right!?

San Dimas Mom said:

5 simple words why not to vote Republican.
It is the Supreme Court Stupid.

Hey San Dimas Mom, I like your style. However you used six words, not five. No matter, your point is well taken.

All people really have to do is judge for themselves if their lives are better now than they were eight years ago. Gas wasn't $4 a gallon eight years ago nor was a loaf of bread. Can you say recession? And how about the tax break everyone's going to get. You know the six hundred bucks. What will you do with your money? Most people will probably spend it, filling the pockets of the wealthy one more time. And the wealthy, well they'll get more than six hundred bucks.

San Dimas Mom said:

Thank you Dude for your correction. Math was never my strong suit.

As for the recession it has been treated as if it was a four letter word by the bush co. Rarely the word is mentioned and if it is, it is discounted as if it will be a temporary blip in the road.

It is time for a change.
Insulted by bush co lies that Iraq was involved with 911 continues 6 years. The fact is the majority of the hijackers were Saudi Arabians.

It is time for a change,
when it is CONSIDERED unpatriotic to want our troops home from an illegal occupation of Iraq.

It is time for a change,
when bush/cheney/mc cane are beating the drum of war, again. Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran.

It is time for a change,
when the LA times publishes 5/8/08 that Bush calls for tough interrogation methods "one of the most valuable tools in the war on terror."

It is time for a change,
when water boarding is not considered torture by an attorney general.

It is time for a change,
when a legal medical procedure is readied to be overturned by a bias Supreme Court, reducing a woman right to private health care as a safe option.

It is time for a change, when neo-conservative mouthpiece dRug Limbaugh disseminate lies over the air waves influencing the outcome of the Indiana Primary in hopes attempt to create chaos in the Democratic Party.

It is time for a change,
when the domination of the media conglomerates by special interests (neo-conservatives agenda) make for a corrosive environment on truthful journalism, undermining debate in this county when we need it the most.

It is time for a change,
when the majority of WE the People are angry and insulted by repeated lies, crimes and treason by bush, cheney and rice company.

Long time devoted republicans are turning their backs on their "conservative party" and are voting for "CHANGE".
The 6 words why YOU SHOULD vote democratic.

"It's the supreme court, stupid."

You go girl!

I couldn't agree more and what angers me is that they have buffaloed much of the general public into voting against their best interests. Issues like abortion, gay marriage, fear mongering i.e. terrorism or the threat thereof, you know the drill, are not reasons to vote in a fascist regime that does what it wants no matter what. Wake up people! Vote for change, not more of the same.

All I know about this guy is he or some asshole that works for him has put signs up and down the streets of my town in violation of the law. He SHOULD have got a sign permit and been LEGAL and not posted signs on private properties.

Brea Resident said:

Why do you violate the law and put your signs on private property? Imperia; hwy is not your dump.

Dude said:

His garbage is strewn throughout my neighborhood as well. Posted legally or not it’s an eyesore. Huff’s signage is nearly always found next to David Dryer’s propaganda. At least some thoughtful individual has used red spray paint to tag Dryer’s signs with “FIRE” Dryer in bright red paint. I imagine David had the choice would have picked mauve.

San Dimas Mom said:

Hey Again, Dude and Brea
Speaking of signage I have seen the Fire Dreier as well. Which caught my interest so
I did a little research on David Dreier and here is an excerpt from WIKI that I found interesting.
According to wiki: “In the fall of 2004, journalist Doug Ireland claimed to "out" Dreier in print in L.A. Weekly, in its issue of September 24–September 30, 2004. The L.A. Weekly printed that Dreier has had a romantic relationship with his longtime chief of staff, Brad W. Smith.
The alleged "outing" was a result of Dreier coming under increasing scrutiny from gay rights groups because of his voting record, which includes support of the Defense of Marriage Act, as well as votes against gay adoption and against inclusion of homosexuals as a protected class in hate crime and employment discrimination legislation.
Amid the controversy, Dreier voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment on September 30, 2004. He explained his opposition to the amendment by stating that he felt the Constitution was not the appropriate tool for restricting rights. He also has voted against the Flag Desecration Amendment.” End quote.....

It has been published that Dreier was a shoe in for Tom Delay’s House Majority Leader position in 2005, but in the end……(he got crewed) the position was offered to House Whip Roy Blunt. Reasons being is that he (Dreier) was too moderate?!??!!

Poor Mr. Dreier has spent years marching in lock step with his beloved party. He sacrificed the rights of his love ones, his community and himself for the sake of his own political career. His Red Party ignored his loyal voting record and then shunned and punished him for sexuality.
Such hypocrisy!
FIRE all the RED BASTARDS.

I believe that Even though not perfect, the republicans bring intelligence to the problem solving process, it is easy to see that Democrats bring emotion. I do not want my country run on emotions, but clear well thought out solutions, not bombastic or childish blather. Democrats have proved they are not doer’s just criticizers.

Let me guess, based on your "emotion" reference, you are not voting for hillary. Female = emotion lingo. Reference is very out dated as well as sexest.
