Racism Runs Rampant In The Black Intelligentsia

Posted by: Kevin D. Korenthal | 04/11/2008 12:38 PM

The comments made by Barack Obama's pastor (God damn America) are but a national exposition of a problem that conservative pundits like myself have known about for a long time. Rather than white Americans being the racist group today, it is the very group that was once that the victim of racism that has picked up the mantle of racism and is using it for political gain.

In my opinion the question of racism must include two different types. There is individual racism, a person who is racist and then their is institutional racism, the proposition that an entire group is racist.

Whereas it is obvious that there is still individual racism by white Americans against all sorts of other races, institutional racism now belongs to blacks and it is targeted in large part towards Jews.

Well-educated, and spiritually connected black leaders seem to be the major sponsors of the new racism. They preach from the pulpits that Jews and other white people have their boot against the throat of the black man. They opine that all white people (especially Jews) are out to keep all non-whites and non-Jews down.

The latest example of this "pulpit racism" comes from Reverend Eric Lee. Mr. Lee was the keynote speaker at an event commemorating the assassination of Martin Luther King. The honoree of the event was Israeli-American Daphna Ziman who received the Kappa Alpha Psi Tom Bradley Award for community service at the event.

Immediately upon the bestowing of the award, Rev. Lee launched into an anti-semitic tirade that left the honoree running from the room in tears.

After Ziman received her award, Reverend Lee, who is the President/CEO of the Los Angeles branch of Dr. King's Southern Christian Leadership Conference, began his keynote speech. In the midst of this, after praising Malcolm X, he started staring directly at Ziman, according to an email she sent. Ziman's email states "[Lee] started talking about the African American children who are suffering because of the Jews that have featured them as rapists and murderers. He spoke of a Jewish Rabbi, and then corrected himself to say 'What other kind of Rabbis are there, but Jews.' He told how this Rabbi came to him to say that he would like to bring the AA [African-American] community and the Jewish community together. 'NO, NO, NO!!!!' he shouted into the crowd, 'we are not going to come together. The Jews have made money on us in the music business and we are the entertainers, and they are economically enslaving us.'"
This is bad. It's hypocritical of the black race to attack Jews this way and it is further evidence that the black intelligentsia is unserious about lifting their people above the institutional racism of the past.

But what is worse is the gull this Rev. Lee must possess to have, once caught, do a complete 180. In a letter of apology to Ms. Ziman, Rev. Lee writes:

It is with deep regret and my sincerest apologies that any comments I have made have caused you pain and distress. It was never my intent to insult you or the Jewish community, with whom I have a respected and long standing relationship. It is my hope that any misunderstandings may be clarified such that both our communities may move forward with mutual respect and a commitment to our shared struggles against any form of injustice.... I unequivocally denounce any anti-Semitic sentiments, statements and behavior and assure you that such hatred is not reflective of my character and my work.
What about those comments like, "the Jews have made money on us in the music business and we are the entertainers, and they are economically enslaving us"? Are those not racist comments?

I believe that most black leaders have resigned themselves to the idea that their youth is beyond salvation. That black men will always abandon their offspring at 3 times the rate of any group and that they will die as a result of violence at twice the rate of any other group. This leaves the young black man with only one use for the well-educated black preacher, a political pawn. These preachy black leaders now use the condition of the younger black population as a political football with which to whack white America upside the head. The reason? So shake-down artists like Je$$e Jack$on can follow behind them collecting reparations and payoffs from white-run corporations like NASCAR.

Excellent and enlightened post.

Blacks are racists too. And it is dangerous when those in positions of leadership - like Reverend Jeremiah Wright - preach hatred to thousands of parishoners weekly.

I don't know why blacks have singled out Jews but it is ridiculous. Corporate America makes money off of black "artists?' Well corporate America has to get paid for promoting and distributing that crap. If black America wants to point a finger at someone responsible for the crap that is peddled - the degrading hip hop, gangster rap - then black America needs to point that finger at Russell Simmons. He is a billionaire music industry mogul and he's BLACK.

The most dangerous thing about this is that these educated blacks are their community's leaders. And these educated blacks get a lot of media coverage. And these educated blacks have a lot of credibility within the WHITE community. That's a serious problem. Whites need to confront blacks and black racism NOW.
