It is pretty serious when a municipal government body has to respond to accusations not from a citizen or someone speaking in public comments at a council meeting, but the accusations came from Foothill Cities Blog.

Furthermore, the City Council had to clarify the "sweetheart" deal on home loan to City Manager Scott Ochoa's employment contract.

It makes one wonder, if the residents of a given city aren't watching their own municipal government, who will?
