Will the Truth Project Have an Impact on This Years Elections?

Ran across this ministry of Focus on the Family and it generated this question...
If thousands of conservative Evangelicals are participating in this project how much of an impact will it have on the upcoming elections this year?
Some have said that John McCain needs to do something similar in laying out the foundational principles of the Republican party while we wait to see who the Democrats select as their nominee. Could this be integrated into that sort of approach? Or would the two not mesh?
Tell me what you think.

What is Focus on the Family's
The Truth Project®?
In a recent study, the Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world. Only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview.1
Because of this, today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation.
To counter this slide within the body of Christ, we are launching one of the most ambitious and powerful projects in the history of our ministry--Focus on the Family's The Truth Project.
The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
We believe this one project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ, as we expect that thousands will be transformed by this curriculum. As it has been throughout history, God continues to call ordinary people to make an eternal difference in our world.
We invite you to be a part of this cultural change by participating in or leading a small group of your own. Contact us to learn how you can get involved in Focus on the Family's The Truth Project!

I had an awesome experience watching this video series and
I would highly recommend it to all people seeking closer
relationship with our God.
I think this should be a mandatory text book for all
present and future leaders for our country.
Two thumbs up!
Thank you for the "Truth Project" posting here and I am proud of you.
God Bless.
While this type of project may be very useful for building up our base again for future elections, we need to make sure we're not forcing John McCain to spend both valuable time & Valuable resources working to convince strong conservatives that 1) they need to vote as part of theitr duty as a citizen (every girl scout & boy scout knows this from their Citizenship merit badge); and 2) they must do everything possible to keep Hillabama from winning the White House, including going to the polls and pulling the lever for McCain.
A lady Republican Strategist on Fox News just recently estimated that for every "strong conservative" McCain has to work harder to convince, he loses 4-6 Independents and/or Reagan Democrats that he could have worked to get.
Are conservatives, regardless of faith, willing to put the future of the Supreme Court in the hands of the Democrats? The Gang of 14 may not have seemed good at the time, but it is solely responsible for ensuring Roberts and Alito were voted to the Supreme Court. Remember who President Reagan put on the Court? Sandra Day O'Connor! There will be at least one, likely two, Supreme Court appointments BEFORE the 2012 election. As a pro-lifer and strict constitutionalist, I think about that a lot!
Promote our priciples and values well, but in the end, remember what's at stake. A Democrat controlled White House & Congress will liead to a liberal-controlled Supreme Court before the next election.
