Los Angeles Carpenters Union Wreaks Havoc In Bakersfield

I don't even need to go beyond the county line to report on this ongoing story. Carpenters Local 1506 did that for us when they began some time ago to travel from Los Angeles to Bakersfield to commit their "Shame On" banner campaigns against lawful, quality contractors doing work on privately funded construction in Bakersfield, CA.
The activity was merely a visual menace until the construction union began sending their thugs to a construction project slated to become the new location of the Santa Barbara Business College. One one occasion, the union thugs actually physically assaulted a Project Manager at the site. Read and watch the news report about that here.
But it gets worse. Not content assaulting construction workers that can defend themselves, the thugs have moved onto senior citizens.
The incident at the college has prompted a certain association of non-union contractors to file a National Labor Relations Board complaint against the union thugs that assulted the Project Manager. The article features a certain Director of Government Affairs from that association giving comments about what the association plans to do to address the thuggery. You can read the story and watch the video here.

Dozens of marchers picket in front of a Bakersfield medical office, in a protest by a Carpenters' Union local from Los Angeles. About 30 marchers held signs and chanted outside the office of Comprehensive Cardiovascular on Truxtun Extension for hours Tuesday afternoon.Patients, most of whom are elderly, have had to be escorted into the facility, cars have been keyed and the protesters, who are not union members but rather hourly temps, park in all the medical facilities parking spaces. In addition, nurses and other staff fear for their safety.

We are a Union Carpenter family..... When big buisness uses nonunion labor it directly affects our families..... Their profits are so Enormous why can't they pay Union wages??? GREED!!!! Any compnay that does not hire Union is not a Compnay that I will support!
Where is your evidence that non-union contractors make "enormous" profit? It's all relative, because non-union contractors pass the savings they get from paying the local wage (rather than the union wage) into the bid thus making them more competitive.
Why do only union workers deserve to work?
